The DMS Specialist - Pricing is a full-time position that will be responsible for the pricing of airframe and engine part inventory for DMS. This individual's scope of responsibilities includes gathering market intelligence on pricing of serviceable and unserviceable airframe and engine part inventory, managing relationships with parts suppliers and end users, and gathering pricing estimates on brokered and large package quotes for the commercial team. This position requires the ability to work in a collaborative environment and have strong analytical and financial analysis skills.

This position is based in Atlanta, GA and will report to the Sr. Manager - Pricing and Inventory Management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Gather market intelligence on pricing of airframe and engine part inventory; ensuring data is captured within the DMS CRM system.

Maintain relationships with airframe and engine parts suppliers as well as end users.

Design and update pricing activity reports to assure on-going visibility of pricing activities and integrity of current pricing processes.

Support the commercial organization for brokered purchases, sales and RFQ quote activity.

Assure proper documentation of approved price quotes at the point of final sale.

Read, interpret and discuss pricing requests with Sales to assure proper understanding of the opportunity and related pricing implications.

Deliver cost saving solutions to the overall value chain in an effort to reduce CASM for Delta Airlines.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum/basic skills & qualifications an individual qualified for this position should possess. Job qualifications should be measurable & required only if all incumbents who are currently in those positions have those skills/qualifications.

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience

Minimum 3-5 years of pricing or inventory experience in aviation, warehouse, distribution or supply chain discipline preferred.

Demonstrated success in problem solving, analytical skills and data analysis

Proficient in use of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Experience with MS Access, SAP, SQL, Tableau and Alteryx preferred

Must be able to work independently with limited supervision.

Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Must be able to plan, prioritize, organize and complete work to meet established deadlines. Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
