Delta Air Lines, Inc. MANAGER - Flight Operations Analysis and Performance in Atlanta, Georgia
The Flight Operations Analysis and Performance team is responsible for helping drive overall Flight Operations performance by analyzing data and processes to identify causal factors impacting performance, developing presentations and recommendations to assist leadership decision making, setting performance metrics and administering routine reporting tools and programs to monitor operating performance, and developing next generation decision support, analytic, and process improvement tools. The team works closely with all areas within Flight Operations to develop and execute initiatives to improve operations, customer service, employee satisfaction, flight safety, and financial performance. The Manager position leads this analytical team, guiding all analytical work, influencing Flight Operations decision making, leading change in business processes, and developing team members' skills and knowledge to enhance their contributions.
Bachelor's degree and 5 years or experience or a Master's Degree and 3 years of experience in a quantitative discipline or equivalent work experience.
Airline Operations Analysis, Flight Operations, and Airline Crew experience preferred.
Must possess demonstrated strong technical, analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills and perform with a high level of accuracy.
Experience working with advanced analytical software such as SAS strongly preferred.
Previous experience leading and mentoring direct reports preferred.
Should possess strong decision making, interpersonal, oral and written communication and presentation skills. Need to be able to communicate complex information effectively.
Should be able to lead cross-divisional project teams, handle multiple assignments simultaneously and work in a high pressure, time sensitive environment with minimal supervision.
Must be performing satisfactorily in current role.
