JOB SUMMARY:

The Product Leader - Onboard Inflight Entertainment (IFE) will support the industry leading inflight entertainment product, Delta Studio. This role is responsible for helping to derive and carry out the short and long term vision of Delta's IFE program strategy and deliver a best-in-class customer experience across Delta's global fleet. This will require assembling, leading, and influencing cross-divisional work groups and external partners. With the support of these teams, the Product Leader, will lead the research, design, and execution of varying innovative initiatives including but not limited to IT, marketing, promotional, and entertainment content partnerships to enhance the onboard experience. The key to success in this role will be the ability to empathize with customers around the globe while analyzing perception, behavioral, and competitive information to develop deep and meaningful insights of customers' core needs.

The Product Leader will be part of a high-performing and energetic team. This is a highly visible role, providing senior leadership exposure and connection to multiple teams across Delta. The Product Leader - Onboard Inflight Entertainment position will be located in Atlanta, GA and report to the Manager - Onboard Inflight Entertainment.

PRIMARY FUNCTIONS INCLUDE:

  • Working with and leading internal and external partners (experiential and entertainment-based agencies, major / independent film and TV studios, other content providers, etc.)

  • Infusing creativity and differentiating factors into the IFE program and developing marketing campaigns to increase awareness and improve customer engagement with these elements

  • Supporting the development of the IFE customer experience investment plans and business cases for products and services to strengthen customer loyalty

  • Analyzing data and competitive information to inform decision making and reports to communicate recommendations and updates to leaders

  • Representing the customer's point of view in various cross-functional working groups and committees (IFE system upgrades, etc.)

  • Partnering with relevant stakeholders to resolve customer issues in timely manner

  • Practicing safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BA/BS degree in fields such as business, management, media, communications, entertainment, aviation, and/or engineering is required; MBA preferred

  • 3+ years of entertainment, marketing, product, and/or new business and partnership development experience is preferred

  • Keen enthusiasm and basic understanding of IFE technologies and trends is beneficial

  • Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and quantitative skills with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organization

  • Proven strategic and creative thinking and passion for the customer

  • Strong interpersonal and partnership skills

  • Project management experience and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

  • Data-based problem-solving and presentation skills

  • Advanced knowledge of MS applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required

  • The ability to travel domestically and internationally
