Delta Air Lines, Inc. Project Leader_Technical Procedures in Atlanta, Georgia
Responsible for overall development, authoring, and management of aircraft technical manuals utilized on Delta's fleet of air aircraft. Must ensure compliance to FAA Regulations, Engineering documentation, and other substantiating data as outlined in the Technical Operation Policies & Procedures (TOPP). Must ensure compliance with all Delta, FAA, and other regulatory requirements. Works closely with numerous departments including Line Maintenance, Base Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Engineering, Maintenance, Materials, Production Control, Supplier Operations and others to ensure all aircraft manual content meets FAA, ATA, and Delta standards. Must ensure the safety conscious behaviors are incorporated into all procedures contained in the aircraft technical manuals. Position requires a thorough knowledge of commercial aviation documentation and guidance specifications (i.e. ATA 100, iSpec2200, S1000D, and etc).
Airframe and Powerplant licenses required (minimum 5 years maintenance experience) or equivalent technical degree and maintenance experience. Must have a strong technical knowledge of the aircraft and a thorough understanding of aircraft manuals. Should be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communications skills, able to handle several projects simultaneously with minimum supervision, must be well organized, and able to prioritize work to meet established deadlines. Must have very strong computer skills with knowledge and experience in structured authouring (SGML, S1000D, XML, and etc). Experience in MS Office, Epic Editor, Serna, MS Office products and Adobe Professional highly preferred. Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
