Delta Air Lines, Inc. Senior Business Analyst in Mexico City, Mexico

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work in the AIR4 Support Team. This is an exciting role offering the chance to interface with both Delta and Aeromexico, as we integrate the AIR4 product suite with our major partner airline. The role of the Senior Business Analyst is to support, communicate and facilitate change by building strong relationships with our key partners within Aeromexico. The Senior Business Analyst is responsible for understanding and tracking the technology changes made in the Delta IT environment, and properly assessing any impact to the AIR4 product suite. Documenting, communicating and working with Aeromexico to take the necessary steps to be ready to accept these technology changes, and any ensuing process changes, will be a large part of this job. Relationship Management is central to this role.


Manage the relationship between Delta IT and Aeromexico business and IT teams, meeting on a regular basis, and identifying potential new business initiatives and future projects.

Understanding the impact of IT changes within Delta, and how they will effect AIR4 partner airlines

Become, and remain, knowledgeable on all AIR4-related business processes and technology and how they operate/integrate.

Proactively identify opportunities to leverage Delta's technical solutions and emerging technologies to facilitate these solutions to Delta's AIR4 partner airlines

Provide expertise and advice to AIR4 partner airline's business units, IT leaders, project teams, and other support teams

Identify gaps in the Delta application functionality, and work with the application teams, to provide solutions that may be needed for AIR4 partner airlines

Work with application support and IT development teams to fix software bugs and escalate issues for the AIR4 partner airlines

Look for opportunities to leverage Delta's technical solutions and emerging technologies to facilitate these solutions to Delta's AIR4 partner airlines

Facilitate and participate in regular project status reviews, and status meetings, related to AIR4 partner airlines


Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems with three (5) or more years of IT and/or business experience, or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and/or training

A strong communicator in both Spanish and English

Ability to create detailed, well-written documentation for a variety of audiences.

Ability to multi-task, and be detail oriented

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent relationship management and influencing skills

Prior experience working at an airline is preferred

Experience working with diverse teams located in various countries

Data analysis and reporting
